The Atelier
At Vanrooij Designs, our mission is to boost confidence with slow fashion pieces using high fashion dressmaking techniques that look and feel lasting in every detail. We want to honour craftsmanship, quality, and elegance in a world of fast fashion. The design and creation process can range from weeks to months, considering time for consultations, sending your measurements, fabric selection, production, and fittings if desired. Therefore, we recommend inquiring about a custom piece 3-6 months in advance. If your event is sooner, send us a message anyway and we will see what we can do.
How to Send Your Measurements
To create your perfect dress we need your specific measurements to ensure the perfect fit.
These measurements include varying unique lengths and circumferences from head to toe.

Founder & History
Vanrooij Designs was founded by Jezebel van Rooy, whose love for dressmaking began at just seven years old. Fueled by a passion for bringing beauty to life through fabric and design, she pursued formal training in fashion design before continuing to create formal dresses in her free time. For Jezebel, there is nothing quite like the magic of transforming an idea into reality, putting lots of thought into every detail, and seeing the joy a beautifully made dress brings to someone. Vanrooij Designs is the result of that lifelong dedication—a place where elegance, craftsmanship, and creativity come together to make every dress a dream come true.
